En el marco de una jornada sobre Hábitat Social, el Foro Social Urbano elaboró un extenso documento donde expuso una batería de propuestas y acciones inmediatas para que Gabinete provincial entrante considere en la futura implementación de políticas destinadas a paliar la situación coyuntural en Tierra del Fuego. Entre los puntos más relevantes, se encuentran la campaña internacional “Desalojo Cero” y la creación de un Fondo Popular de Tierras y Vivienda.
El coordinador de la Alianza Internacional de Habitantes, Cesare Ottolini, convocó a el Foro Social Urbano de Ushuaia y organizaciones que se movilizan por la falta de tierras y viviendas en la provincia a adherirse a la campaña internacional "Desalojos Cero", que promueve en poblaciones vulnerables la lucha porque los territorios sean declarados libres de desalojos.
