A friendly face of collective solidarity.
The “Logo for International Alliance of Inhabitants” competition was launched with the aim of engaging graphic artists from around the world in creating a trademark and, at the same time, defining a symbol that would identify all those who struggle for the right to housing without borders.
|
The International Alliance of Inhabitants (the organization) launches an international competition open to anyone who possesses talent for design and would like to contribute as a volunteer in the battle for housing rights without borders.
The aim of this competition is to create an official Logo that will be used as a trademark of “International Alliance of Inhabitants -IAI- ”.
This Logo will be a symbol identifying those who are fighting for housing rights without borders, thus reinforcing their visibility and objectives.
The Logo will be officially presented at the launch of the new International Alliance of Inhabitants (IAI) website in June 2007.

It was a very arduous task to choose from among the 33 logos from 16 countries, proposed in response to the IAI contest for the Zero Evictions Campaign Logo.
All of the logos we received were in fact, beautiful and stimulating.
We give special thanks to the winner, Maroussia Ryelandt, Belgium, who created logo number 19, chosen by the IAI Coordinating committee, with the suggestions of experts in the field!
